The Lisboeta Macau resort in Cotai said in a statement yesterday that it is supporting “Walk for A Million” with donations for the fifth consecutive year, while it will also organise a team to participate in the upcoming event.
Slated for December 14, the 42nd Walk for A Million is annually organised by the Charity Fund From the Readers of Macao Daily News, the statement noted. Lisboeta Macau’s donation this year is 28,000 patacas, with a cheque donation ceremony held at the “Charity Fund From the Readers of Macao Daily News”.
Lisboeta Macau aims to demonstrate its “strong commitment to corporate social responsibility and its dedication to advance charitable causes in Macau and support the city’s spirit of solidarity and mutual support”, the statement said.
