Secretary for Security Wong Sio Chak said yesterday that he had recently received the file of a Judiciary Police (PJ) officer who was filmed abusing his dog earlier this year, and would make the final decision on the case.
Wong made the remarks on the sidelines of a ceremony to award service medals to firefighters at the Fire Services Bureau (CB) in Sai Van yesterday.The officer, surnamed Chan, was filmed by someone kicking, beating and throwing the dog around on the verandah of a residential building in Taipa in January 17. The video quickly went viral on various social media such as Facebook.
