Secretary for Social Affairs and Culture Alexis Tam Chon Weng said yesterday that Chief Executive Fernando Chui Sai On has agreed with his proposal that senior civil servant Mok Ian Ian become the new president of the Cultural Affairs Bureau (IC).
Tam made the remarks while speaking to reporters on the sidelines of an event to award outstanding pupils in the academic year 2016/17, at Keang Peng School in Rua de Francisco Xavier Pereira.
Tam also said that Chui has accepted Cecilia Tse Heng Sai’s request to resign as the bureau’s president for health reasons.
