A taxi caught fire while it was being driven past Galaxy Macau in Cotai yesterday afternoon, according to the Fire Services Bureau (CB).
The taxi driver and his passenger – a 32-year-old pregnant woman – were not injured in the incident that occurred shortly after 3 p.m.
The taxi driver told firefighters that the dashboard suddenly burst into flames when he was driving. He and the passenger immediately left the vehicle.
