Macau’s horse racing and sports lottery businesses generated a mere 0.3 percent of Macau’s gross gaming revenue of 266.6 billion patacas last year, according to Gaming Inspection and Coordination Bureau (DICJ) statistics.
Horse racing and football and basketball lotteries recorded gross revenues of 808 million patacas last year.
Horse races’ revenues amounted to 104 million patacas last year, down 26.2 percent year on year. Football lottery recorded a gross revenue of 519 million patacas, a 4.06 percent drop. Basketball lottery’s gross revenue rose 17.1 percent year on year to 185 million patacas.
