A car plunged down a hillside yesterday when a local man was driving along Estrada de Cheoc Van in Coloane, according to the Fire Services Bureau (CB).
The incident was possibly due to the driver accidentally hitting the accelerator, according to the police.
The driver, who is in his fifties or sixties, was slightly injured, and taken to the private Kiang Wu Hospital for treatment, the firemen said.
