About 250 common taxis have joined a mobile ride-hailing app launched by the Macau Taxi Drivers Mutual Help Association.

Prospective passengers can call a taxi that has joined the app that is within a three-kilometre radius of the location where they are at that time.

Tony Kuok Leong Son, the group’s president, made the announcement during a press conference at his association’s office near Avenida do Conselheiro Ferreira de Almeida.
