The ashes of late Liaison Office of the People’s Central Government in Macau Director Zheng Xiaosong were interred at the Babaoshan Revolutionary Cemetery in Beijing on Saturday, the Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office of the State Council said in a statement yesterday.
According to the statement, Hong Kong and Macau Affairs Office Director Zhang Xiaoming, Deputy Director Huang Liuquan and other staff members of the Beijing-based office attended the interment ceremony.
The statement said that the interment took place on Saturday morning. According to the statement, Zhang conveyed the condolences of the central leadership to Zheng’s bereaved family during the ceremony.
