The Public Security Police (PSP) arrested a local man on Saturday for allegedly groping a woman’s breasts twice in a lift of a residential building in Ilha Verde district, PSP spokesman Wong Wai Chon said during a regular press conference yesterday.
According to Wong, the suspect surnamed Hong is in his thirties. He told the police that he is unemployed. The victim is a local woman in her thirties. Her personal information was not released.
The incident happened at about 11 p.m. on Friday when the victim was taking the lift from the building’s lobby. The suspect got in the lift with the victim. Hong spoke to the victim and asked her to add him as a new friend in an online communication application. The victim did not bother to respond. Hong then moved closer to her and, according to Wong, he used his elbows and touched her breasts the first time.
