Lawmaker-cum-unionist Ella Lei Cheng I has urged the government to consider accepting applications for public housing on a regular basis and come up with measures to simplify administrative procedures so that eligible public housing applicants can move into their flats more quickly.
Lei, makes the suggestion in a written interpellation, submitted to the legislature yesterday, and copies of the interpellation were sent to the media by her office.
