Government organs can communicate with local youngsters better by opening accounts on social media platforms such as Facebook, University of Macau (UM) Faculty of Social Sciences Assistant Dean Agnes Lam Iok Fong said yesterday.
The media scholar made the remarks after the opening ceremony of the five-day ‘UM CommFest 2016’ campaign, the university’s communication students’ graduation project, on the UM campus in Hengqin.
The campaign, themed ‘Neosociety’, includes a range of activities about the development of social media in Macau and Hong Kong such as public lectures and exhibitions.
