Jobless gambler cheats 2 friends out of HK$450,000: police
The Judiciary Police (PJ) detained a mainlander on Sunday for allegedly cheating two friends out of HK$450,000 in winnings which they had won in a local casino while gambling together, PJ spokesman Leng Kam Lon said during a regular press conference yesterday.The case was reported to a police station by a mainlander in June.Leng said the 30-year-old suspect surnamed Zhao told the police that he is unemployed. Over 30 million visitors in 9 months
Macau recorded 30.2 million visitors in the first nine months of the year, a year-on-year growth of 17 percent, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday.Same-day visitors accounted for 52.7 percent of all visitor arrivals between January and September.
