Woman nabbed for pawning fake diamond ring twice
A woman from the mainland has been arrested for hocking two fake diamond rings in a local pawn shop on two separate occasions, Judiciary Police (PJ) spokesman Lei Chi Hou said during a regular press conference yesterday.The 51-year-old suspect surnamed Hao told the police she’s jobless.According to Lei, a pawn shop manager reported to the police last Tuesday that Hao had pawned a fake diamond ring for 35,000 patacas. Incinerator’s 3rd-phase extension completed, raising waste burning daily capacity by 1,300 tonnes
The Environmental Protection Bureau (DSPA) said in a statement yesterday that the third-phase extension project of the city’s solid waste incineration centre, located at Pac On in Taipa, has been completed.The statement said that operational tests have now been completed so that it can come into service soon. Macau logs over 100,000 visitors per day on average during summer holiday: tourism chief
