The second phase of “Stay, Dine and See Macao” attracted over 3,700 signups by residents in two days, an MGTO statement said on Saturday.

According to the statement, the second phase signup started on Thursday, offering 19 itineraries for local residents. The statement pointed out that besides the Helicopter Ride Experience and Yacht Check-in Tour, visitors are also welcome to sign up for the other 18 tours at their full price. Residents’ prices are subsidised by the government.

The statement noted that since April 18, 9,149 hotel staycation packages have been sold, involving 23,028 overnight guests in total.

The statement pointed out that the tours are operated in small-sized groups, which allow participants to enjoy private tours with tailor-made itineraries. The statement also said that transportation services are arranged for tour participants who can request a tour guide service in Cantonese, Putonghua or English.

The statement underlined that the projects are operated in strict compliance with Health Bureau’s (SSM) guidelines on pandemic prevention, adding that MGTO will continue to pay close attention to the latest situation of the COVID-19 pandemic while making prompt and appropriate arrangements for all the activities in accordance with the guidelines.
