The “Bus Travelling System” mobile app run by the Transport Bureau (DSAT) has all 79 bus routes in the city covered from today, for bus passengers to check the locations of buses, according to a statement by the bureau on Saturday.
The app is available in Chinese, Portuguese and English, and for both iPhone and Android systems.
Through the app, a smartphone user can see the locations of the various buses along each route.
The bureau launched the app in late July for smartphone users to download, when it covered 10 routes.
