The “Louis Vuitton Cruise 2026 Macau Show” was held at The Londoner Arena in Cotai on November 13, with the collaboration between Sands China and one of the world’s leading fashion houses being a “resounding success”, according to a recent statement by the integrated resort operator.
The event marked the brand’s inaugural fashion show in the city, the statement pointed out. It featured the latest collection conceived by Nicolas Ghesquière, artistic director of Women’s Collections, and was attended by Louis Vuitton Ambassador Victoria Song, “Asian icon” Carina Lau, Hong Kong actress and model Louise Wong Tan-ni and Chinese mainland actress Lu Yuxiao.
David Sylvester, president of Global Retail, Las Vegas Sands Corp. was quoted by the statement as saying: “Bringing an international fashion event of this calibre to Macau for the first time marks an important milestone – one that celebrates the city’s growing influence on the global stage. It reflects our ability to unite luxury fashion, exceptional hospitality, and world-class experiences, further elevating the profile of Sands China”.
He added that the collaboration “embodies a shared vision to create unforgettable luxury lifestyle moments that inspire and engage, reinforcing Macau’s emergence as a premier destination for culture, creativity and sophistication.”
The Louis Vuitton Cruise 2026 Show replicated a fashion show in May 2025 that took place at Cour d’Honneur of the Palais des Papes in Avignon, southern France, and represented “a new kind of journey for the House”, the statement said.
The Cruise 2026 Collection “explores the performative aspect of clothing, its inherent artistic value, its narrative force, and the emotional power it unleashes”, the statement said.
