Transport Bureau (DSAT) Director Lam Hin San said yesterday the government was “striving to complete” drafting its proposed changes to the city’s taxi regulation by the end of this month.

Lam made the remarks after attending a meeting with the Legislative Assembly’s (AL) Follow-up Committee for Public Administration Affairs.

Since the government plans to upgrade the taxi regulation to a fully-fledged law, it will have to be submitted to the Legislative Assembly (AL) for debate and vote.
