Macau logs 25.9 million visitors in Jan-Sept, up 30 pct
Macau welcomed 25.9 million visitor arrivals in the first three quarters of this year, a year-on-year growth of 30.1 percent, recovering to 85.8 percent of the number in the same period in pre-pandemic 2019, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday. Same-day visitors (13.83 million) and overnight visitors (12.08 million) grew by 42.8 percent 18.1 percent year on year respectively. On average, overnight visitors stayed 2.3 days, unchanged from a year earlier.
