Indian trio caught in fortune telling scam
Three men from India were caught last Friday for deceiving shop owners in the city centre in a fortune-telling scam, Public Security Police (PSP) spokesman Lam Keong said in a regular press briefing yesterday. The trio told the merchants that they could predict the future of their businesses and that their “prayers” would bring good luck and prosperity to their shops. Scooter rider dies in crash on Friendship Bridge
A male scooter rider died in a crash with a lorry on Friendship Bridge yesterday afternoon, the Public Security Police (PSP) said.The police identified the victim as a 53-year-old local man. Japanese visitors drop 19 pct
Macau’s number of Japanese visitor arrivals dropped by 19.1 percent year-on-year to 24,900 in September, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced this week.
