Police bust loan-sharking family gang, involving HK$24 million
The Judiciary Police (PJ) have busted a non-gaming-related loan-sharking gang which had arranged usurious loans for residents since 2015, PJ spokesman Lai Man Vai said during a special press conference yesterday.According to Lai, PJ officers took action and arrested five suspected gang members – all are locals – on Monday.
