Population falls to 647,700
Macau’s population at the end of September stood at 647,700, a drop of 4,800 quarter-to-quarter, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday. Females accounted for 51.4 percent of the total. A total of 1,885 live births were delivered in the third quarter, an increase of 246, or 15 percent, from the previous quarter.
