Police nab Mongolian serial shoplifting couple
Public Security Police (PSP) spokeswoman Chong Sin I announced yesterday the arrest of a serial shoplifter from Mongolia.According to Chong, the 24-year-old female suspect surnamed Enkhbat was arrested on Tuesday on suspicion of stealing from at least 12 shops in the city centre.Chong said the suspect was arrested at the Barrier Gate checkpoint on Tuesday as she was about to leave the city.Please read the full article in our print edition.

A man threatened to jump from the 9th-floor corridor balcony of Julieta Nobre da Carvalho Building, Block C, in Avenida de Artur Tamagnini Barbosa, yesterday. Crown cuts stake in MCE for HK$6.2 billion
Australian mogul James Packer’s Crown Resorts has reduced its stake in Melco Crown Entertainment (MCE) from 34.3 percent to 27.4 percent for HK$6.2 billion, Hong Kong-based Melco International Development (Melco) announced last night. According to the deal, MCE has agreed to repurchase 155 million shares from a Crown Resorts subsidiary called Crown Asia Investments (CAI).
