Mobile phone imports rise 93 pct in Jan-July
Macau’s imports of mobile phones rose 93.1 percent to 4.08 billion patacas in the first seven months of the year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) said in a statement on Friday. In July, imports of mobile phones increased 59.9 percent to 331 million patacas year on year. Gold jewellery imports grew 20.9 percent to 4.33 billion patacas in the first seven months. Hotel guests rise 6.8 pct to 8 million in Jan-July
Macau’s hotel sector recorded 8.09 million guests in the first seven months of the year, a year-on-year growth of 6.8 percent, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday.
