Visitors rise 5.7 pct to 2.5 million in March
Macau recorded 2.5 million visitor arrivals last month, averaging 80,684 a day, a year-on-year increase of 5.7 percent, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday.Overnight visitors rose by 13.9 percent to 1.33 million, while same-day visitors dropped by 2.4 percent to 1.16 million.The average stay of overnight visitors dropped by 0.1 day to 2.1 days.
