Galaxy’s 2018 profit rises 29 pct to HK$13.5 billion
Galaxy Entertainment Group’s (GEG) net profit rose by 29 percent year-on-year to HK$13.5 billion last year, the Hong Kong-listed gaming company announced yesterday. According to a GEG statement, net revenue rose by14 percent to HK$55.2 billion. 2018 GDP growth slows to 4.7 pct
Growth in Macau’s gross domestic product (GDP) slowed to 4.7 percent year-on-year in real terms last year, the Statistics and Census Bureau (DSEC) announced yesterday. SJM 2018 profit rises 45 pct to HK$2.8 billion
Hong Kong-listed SJM Holdings’ net profit rose by 45.2 percent year-on-year to HK$2.85 billion patacas last year, the gaming company said yesterday. Net gaming revenue earned by SJM, a subsidiary of SJM Holdings, increased by 8.3 percent to HK$33.67 billion patacas. Adjusted EBITDA of SJM Holdings and his subsidiaries was HK$3.72 billion, an increase of 21.1 percent from 2017. Octogenarian dies in fire

Science fund grants 260 million patacas in 2018
